ZQG-8/0.4气动钢轨钻适用于15kg/m-30Kg/m各种钢轨轨型钻孔作业。整体结构紧凑，质量轻、操作灵活、夹具装置有自锁功能，定位准确、钻孔精度高。采用空心钻头、也可装卡麻花钻头，钻孔有自动给水功能，造型美观、矿山轻轨钻孔理想设备。
钢轨钻由主机、双重断水保护装置、进口硬质合金钢轨钻头、净化器、张紧装置等组成，液压胶管总成将气源和主机连接起来，经过净化的气源提供的气压驱动钢轨钻投高速钻进，进行切割。洒水冷却喷头和双重断水保护装置起到冷却和降尘的作用，保护机器正常运转。
气动钢轨钻采用压缩空气作为动力，既可以是空气压缩机、碳纤维气瓶，也可以是压风管道，适用于危险的工作环境.
